The 6th CECL Conference shall shed light on the harmonization and modernization of company law in the CEE region. At a critical point in the European integration, CECL chose to team up with its official partner in Poland, the Allerhand Institut, and provide a venue to discuss the political economy, path dependences and driving forces of the reform process in company law in the Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference aspires to provide an analysis of mutual interactions between company law in the EU and non-EU countries of the CEE region and the EU Acquis. Scholars, practitioners and policymakers from the broader region and beyond shall gather to discuss developments in a number of jurisdictions including Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
